Why? Religions keep fighting with each other, keep trying to prove they are right and the others are wrong, and most keep to trying to convert each other... they are creating chaos on Earth...
When people ask me about my religion I try to politely tell them:
When people ask me about my religion I try to politely tell them:
* I think all the prophets (Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed and others) were wise people… not emanations from God…
* Though Christians think God (The Father) and Jesus loves them… I don’t think God really “loves” people personally like that… I think that is a nice thought that is comforting to many because they don’t feel inner love and appreciation for themselves because they grew up in, and possibly still live in, harsh environments…
If they keep probing, trying to convince me of their religion as being superior or right, I gently share with them my spiritual life:
* I think about the Creation, Source, Creator (whatever it was) so I may experience humility, gratitude and reverence for it…
* I try to practice taking care of myself with kindness, sweetness and love… most people have never experienced sweetness… it is a nice practice…
* A daily practice of Conscious-awareness, Gratitude, Love, Kindness, Forgiveness, Compassion, Sweetness, and Transformation of the World to Paradise Earth…
* Learning, growing and changing
I don't think God will save planet Earth... people will save it, if we change fast enough. To improve life on Earth will require that all religions change.
We improve interpersonal relationships, and situations in life, when we grow, develop and change. Yet it is said that most people do not like to change. When students, parents, spouses or employees are asked to change, they often have a hard time changing fast enough to resolve their difficulties.
All religions need to change, greatly, quickly... to save our environment and to create sustainable communities all around the Earth.
Degrees of Change:
1. Small change
2. Modest change
3. Deeper change
4. Big change
5. Transformation to something not previously conceived
